Mission Statement

The San Miguel Fire Department strives to provide the highest level of service to the residents of San Miguel County by valuing our volunteers and dedicating ourselves to excellence.

The San Miguel County Volunteer Fire Districts provide all risk services to the unincorporated areas of San Miguel County.  The Volunteers are dedicated to providing the highest level of FIRE/EMS response services possibe to the residents of San Miguel County.  This includes a wide variety of emergency services to any ever expanding and diverse population.  These services include fire supression, harzardous material mitigation, Emergency Medical Serices, rural search & rescue and fire prevention.  We continually strive for ways to better our services and meet the specialized needs of our residents.
